Top.1Potala Palace: Potala Palace in Lhasa is one of the most grandiose palaces in the world, and joined the list of world cultural heritage sites in 1994. The outstanding structure is built on the red hill and as old as the Lhasa city with a history of more than 1300 years. It was the former residence of Dalai Lama until 1949. The palace is well preserved with 999 rooms inside and decorated countless statues, murals and antiques, which are as great as its outlook.
